Project Free TV Down: Free TV Streaming Site Goes Offline Unexpectedly, Devastating Social Media Supporters
Project Free TV is no more. The hugely popular illegal TV streaming site – where visitors could watch full seasons of their favorite show or log on minutes after the show's broadcast ended to find full episodes – deleted its catalog of links and posted “Goodbye” on its website Thursday.
The sudden shut down came without any explanation, either on Project Free TV's website or on any of its many social media feeds. But the user reaction was as decisive as it was immediate: It was a tragedy for online streamers who still don't have access to legitimate streaming services like Netflix or Amazon Prime.
